Passing through the Southern Highlands

One of the Southern Highlands’ many colonial buildings, spotted from our car today. We were driving back from wet, wet, torrential-rainy Sydney, so it wasn’t the best day for appreciating the sights! It is a beautiful area, but we can easily make the trip from Canberra when it’s sunnier. There’s a Christmas shop in Berrima I want to investigate… It’s next door to a café/bakery that does these enormous breakfasts for a really low price.

It was a relief to get back to Canberra and see some blue sky!
