We went to Queanbeyan today, to decorate my grandmother’s Christmas tree. This is on the drive home, at the New South Wales-Australian Capital Territory border.
Because everyone’s thinking about Christmas, it’s easy to forget it’s still (barely) spring! If nothing else, my hay fever should be reminding me…
Five minutes after my last post, Canberra’s sky looked like this.
This is what the sky looks like at the moment.
Bright sunshine, dark storm clouds (and lotsa power lines!) in Queanbeyan a few weeks ago.
So, while other parts of Australia are having record rainfall, destructive winds and even a tornado, this is what Canberra had to offer yesterday. The whole sky was on fire!
I think I got sunburnt through the umbrella this afternoon…
