World record-breaking Christmas lights in Canberra

This evening we went to the new Jamie Oliver restaurant in Canberra (note to the idiots at the next table: shaking your legs nonstop for two hours is bloody annoying – I had to change seats!) and then to see the world record-breaking Christmas lights. We thought it was busy when we arrived, but the queue when we left was incredible! Roped off areas weaving around, people lining up all the way down the street and around the corner. There’re food stands and all kinds of things – and you even get a free calendar at the exit!

With 502,165 lights, this is a pretty impressive place to visit!
