The Old Bakery Cottage in Berrima, in New South Wales’ Southern Highlands. We sometimes stop in this little convict-era town on the way to Canberra. This was taken in April, but we’ll be passing by again a couple of times this weekend.

Interesting looking place. When you say “convict-era,” are you referring to when that country was the dumping ground of inmates from other countries?
Yep. in the 1800s when they were settling the area, they used convicts to build a lot of the places in the region. The biggest tourist attraction in the town is the gaol, but I haven’t been there yet. 🙂
