Cemetery Kangaroos

The Canberra region has a kangaroo plague. Here was our visit to my grandparents’ graves on Saturday, just before 3pm. The number of kangaroos around only increases in the hours after that.

I have the same problem visiting my Mothers grave site.
The Kangaroos live in the cemetery there are hundreds of them.
We have had a lot of rain lately and the Kangaroo excrement mixed with flowers and dirt of the fresh graves (which they claw at) is unhygienic, filthy and slippery.
I have to put gumboots on a mask so I don’t contact Q Fever and rubber gloves with my fork to scrape and dispose of the animal poop. My Dr advised me to be very careful I don’t touch or breathe in the foul vapours.
I am entitled to visit my Mother at her grave site to clean up and replace the flowers on a regular basis but I am sick of the dirty job I have to do and also keep eyes in the back of my head for the “Mob” descending on me at the lawn cemetery when I visit.
Something will have to be done about it.
