Afternoon Company

We have birds everywhere this afternoon, but this one is definitely my loudest visitor while I’m sitting here, working on the back deck. (Well, apart from the neighbours’ dog, that likes barking for three hours straight – literally without a break – UGH).

Another gorgeous day here in Canberra. I’ll be in Europe in a week, and the temperatures are still dipping below freezing where I’m heading for the first few weeks! I have no idea what to pack!

  1. So cute! Is that a Cockatoo?

    • It’s a sulphur-crested cockatoo, which are deafeningly loud, and travel in huge groups, chewing on parts of the house.
But apparently they sell for thousands and thousands of dollars each overseas. I should try and catch a few! 😉

  2. Pack warm clothes! Lucky you. Enjoy the sunshine and the birds while you can.
