It’s so sunny and warm in Canberra this Monday lunchtime. I’m posting this sitting outside in the garden, no shoes, and in need of sunglasses (whenever I muster the energy to go and find them!). So much for winter!
A pretty foggy morning today – a little different to the bright sunshine we’ve been having for days!
Here’s another shot of Canberra’s Lake Burley Griffin late this afternoon. After a gorgeous sunny day, the water was so still. That’s the National Carillon on the right (a present from the Queen in the 1970s).
It was a sunny afternoon in Canberra today (somehow we’ve missed all the rain and floods that seem to be hitting most of eastern Australia). We went for a glass of wine on the Kingston Foreshore of Lake Burley Griffin, and this was the view of the Defence buildings when we were heading home (that’s the American Eagle statue across the water).
