We have a sulphur-crested cockatoo plague here at the moment.
No – we have a bird plague in general! It’s a good thing we like them! With spring coming, we have dozens of every type of bird chasing each other around the garden to establish dominance – other than the cockatoos, who just hang around and have fun.
The sun is going down in Canberra…
Drinks by Lake Burley Griffin as the sun went down in Canberra yesterday afternoon.
We had lunch next to the fire at the excellent Poachers Pantry just outside Canberra yesterday afternoon. I’m no farmer, but these must be abnormal creatures!
It’s so sunny and warm in Canberra this Monday lunchtime. I’m posting this sitting outside in the garden, no shoes, and in need of sunglasses (whenever I muster the energy to go and find them!). So much for winter!
A pretty foggy morning today – a little different to the bright sunshine we’ve been having for days!
