In an example of absolutely perfect timing, my camera broke and died when we arrived home at Canberra Airport, after two months of travelling! I will be going through some pictures from the trip soon, and will try and dig up my older camera (and hope it still works) for some newer shots from here.
But next week. I’m trying to get my life back in order after such a long trip!
In the meantime, here is a random Canberra sunset shot from a few months ago.
Driving from Queanbeyan to Canberra this afternoon. We are still having near-summer weather. The sky looked pretty amazing, but the dirty windscreen meant it was hard to get any decent pictures.
Tomorrow we fly to Sydney, and then we fly to Europe (for two months) the next day. I really can’t be bothered facing that two-day journey at the moment!
Then we’re doing it again at the beginning of 2017… We’re so isolated here!
Another unedited picture from one of Canberra’s sunsets last week.
Yet another shot of Monday’s sunset in Canberra.
We have birds everywhere this afternoon, but this one is definitely my loudest visitor while I’m sitting here, working on the back deck. (Well, apart from the neighbours’ dog, that likes barking for three hours straight – literally without a break – UGH).
Another gorgeous day here in Canberra. I’ll be in Europe in a week, and the temperatures are still dipping below freezing where I’m heading for the first few weeks! I have no idea what to pack!
Just another unedited autumn sunset in Canberra…
Here’s another shot of yesterday’s sunset in Canberra.
