Friday Maniac
Our latest idiot cat. Hannibal, an overly friendly Burmese cat (all Burmese cats are super-affectionate) being looked after by our neighbour for a few months. If there’s anything higher than him, he MUST go to the top of it!

Today in Canberra
Rainbow flags on the drive up to Parliament House this afternoon. There’s another set closer over the bridge, but you can’t see them in this picture. Those flagpoles are used for national flags when presidents visit etc.
There are rainbow things everywhere in Canberra – in fact, there have been for months (including the airport – the anti-gay politicians flying in have to see it every time), but now they’ve painted footpaths and roads!

Go Canberra!
The ACT (Canberra) votes YES to marriage equality with BY FAR the highest percentage of people of any state or territory. (Maybe they shouldn’t have stuck us on the bottom of the chart…)
Remember: Canberra has already legalised gay marriage in the past, but we had it taken away from us by national powers.
Tuesday Afternoon in Canberra
The bottlebrush is out and the day is really warm and sunny. A perfect spring afternoon in Canberra.
